Country Retreat, Wolgan Valley

 

This is a very simple country retreat for bush loving city dwellers. The building had to make the most of its stunning views.

 

To this end windows throughout the building are located in different places and heights within rooms to create unique views from each room. Some views are framed, others are expansive.

 

The building has to survive the elements and be economical to build while still sitting comfortably in its rural environment.

 

It survived the recent bushfires despite all around being destroyed.
